Cats are right-handed or left-handed
it exists in the animal kingdom, or people who only know the dominance of a single source for kompilzierte Aufgagen? At least with difficult actions, the animals continue to set up the same front paw. What is it depends on gender.
Female cats are right-handed, while giving skaters the left paw preference, Deborah Wells and Sarah Millsopp report from the University Belfast online in the journal Animal Behaviour.
They observed 42 cats with various tasks. Time it was to fish delicacies from a narrow vessel, once the animals reached for a toy dangling above them, or dragged across the floor. The first task translated 20 of 21 females a mostly right paw, with the males showed a clear preference for the left paw as well.
However, this is where specialization is not uniform for all tasks. For the other two tasks no clear preference could be established.
According to the researchers, the results suggest a gender-dependent specialization of the brain, as well as in humans, and - has been observed in other domestic animals - to a lesser extent.

Hero Is sexuality a natural form
.... or are there homosexual animals? Yes they exist and they form very stable life forms.
have known the two "gay" Humboldt penguins from the Bremerhaven Zoo, which have "adopted" even a chick.
has now been terminated in Los Angeles a "gay" penguin "Harry" by his 6-year partnership with his partner. It leaves him in favor of a female partner, "Linda" and is thus a true "gay lover".
The U.S. researchers Bruce Bagemihl refuted in 1999 with a standard work on all those who think homosexuality is still unnatural. More than 450 times and homosexual circulating species documented the scientist: From lesbian warthog there is talk of gay emus and dolphins of the Amazon, which put their penis into the blowhole of cronies.

Has the jellyfish predators?
jellyfish are slimy and disgusting. You can throw it and some burn on the skin .
But what about the wildlife? Are there any natural enemies of the jellyfish?
should be mentioned here only a few: seals, turtles, sperm whales, sharks, tuna and other fish. Sun
eat leatherback turtles (the animals reach a carapace length of up to 2.5 meters and weighing nearly 700 kg) twice daily of one's own body weight in jellyfish.
But the jellyfish eat each other out.
"jellyfish term" With the ballast water of freighters, the unassuming little jellyfish called Mnemiopsis leidyi in the early eighties introduced into the Black Sea. Normally these animals live off the east coast of the USA.
The slimy invaders become sexually mature in just two weeks, and produce every day, eight thousand generations. In the summer of 1989, researchers have found places in the Black Sea jellyfish more than one kilogram per square meter. The hungry animals consume fish eggs, larvae and animal plankton. The fish stock plummeted downward. Then in 1997 in the ballast water in turn brought in another comb jelly: one from the genus Beroe. It feeds almost exclusively on Mnemiopsis and whose holdings decimated in a short time. Then took home plankton species and the anchovy again significantly. In quite a short time, the Black Sea from the jellyfish invasion has recovered. be eating
and eaten. Again and again the same game. Man also adds this balance again and again to a loss by many fish species befÃĪngt strong and therefore the balance between supply (jellyfish) and demand (tuna fish, turtles ..) changed significantly.
also in the Baltic Sea, the jellyfish Mnemiopsis leidyi has been sighted and thereby threaten the fishery.
