Currently, the federal prosecutor tried in several court cases against Turkish left as Tamils and push through a new construct. It is to § 34 Foreign Trade Law (AWG) in connection with an alleged membership in one listed on the EU terror list organization.
This standard states that people who violate certain economic sanctions of the EU or the United Nations to be punished with imprisonment up to 15 years. A sanction to that effect should be the EU's terror list.
This means, ultimately, anticipated that by the fundamental and highly questionable human rights record of an organization in the controversial EU terror list in rendering legal decision and thus an effective judicial review is withdrawn. This is a risk that any financial support unwelcome political Opposition movements can be criminalized even easier.
On 12 May, before the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg held a hearing about some legal issues to the construct described. A decision is pending.
